Azal Wines

Azal (Branco) is a green-skinned grape variety from the Minho wine region in Portugal. It is used to make good quality Vinho Verde wines and it mostly appears in blends. Its least known version is Azal Tinto, its red wine grape variety variant. Generally speaking Azal (Branco) has a light yellow colour and a fresh crisp texture that reveals refreshing flavours of green apple, citrus and orange.
