The vineyard was founded by the renowned Argentinian billionaire Alejandro Burgheroni.

Maldonado Wines

Maldonado is a wine region located in southeast Uruguay. Winemakers from this region produce both white and red wines. Uruguayan red wines from Maldonado are dominated by the very popular Tannat grapes followed by other key grape varieties such as Merlot, Malbec and the Cabernets. As for the white wines, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Semillon and Riesling are the main grape varieties. Albariño Wines

Albariño is a green-skinned grape variety originating from Galicia, Spain. It is best known for being the key grape variety in Ria Baixas, where it makes crisp and well-textured Spanish white wines. Also it is used for making the famous portuguese white wines from the Vinho Verde DOC where the variety is known as Alvarinho. Albariño has a high acidity and can be produced as a light white wine or in a richer style, with oak or on the lees, which adds to the texture and structure.
