Bourboulenc is an ancient white wine grape variety mostly found in southern France (Languedoc, Provence, and the Rhône Valley wine regions). Bourboulenc wines are fresh and citrusy, with a touch of smoky and spicy tones. This grape variety is used in white wine blends from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Bandol, Corbières, La Clape and Minervoi alongside Grenache Blanc and Clairette grapes.
