Casa Relvas is a family owned winery from Redondo wine region in Portugal. It was established in 1997 by Alexandre Relvas and his two sons: Alexandre Jr and António who are currently running the winery. Casa Relvas' motto is to create good quality wines for every moment in life. These Portuguese wines have gained recognition in both national and international contests with high scores and awards.

Alentejo Wines

Alentejo is a well-known wine region in eastern Portugal. These Portuguese wines typically use Tempranillo, Castelao and Trincadeira as key grape varieties along with other Portuguese grape varieties. One of the most remarkable things about Alentejo wines nowadays is its ability to create a traditional Alentejo wine using French grape varieties such as Syrah or Cabernet Sauvignon. Touriga Franca Wines

Touriga Franca is a dark-skinned red wine variety from Douro Portugal. It is considered to be an important ingredient in both Port wine and Portuguese dry red wine alongside Touriga Nacional. Although it is a very aromatic grape variety it is not concentrated enough to make a very good quality wine on its own. Therefore Touriga Franca will most commonly be found in red blends. Its origins are unclear but it is believed that Touriga Nacional could be its parent.
