Cinsault Wines

Cinsault or Cinsaut is a dark-skinned grape variety usually used for red blends alongside Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre as one of the key grapes in Southern Rhone blends such as Chateuneuf-du-Pape. Cinsault was crossed with Pinot Noir to create South Africa’s key grape: Pinotage. Meanwhile The grape is the key variety in countries such as Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Lebanon.
