Contarini Con-Tre Moscato Dolce
Bottle (75 cl - Standard)
The story of Contarini winery began in the 16th century in Valdobbiadene when Zaccaria Contarini decided to start his own production of quality wines. Here in this prosperous wine region, the Prosecco has become emblematic over two centuries ago. Using Glera as the key grape variety for Prosecco, Contarini vineyards also cultivate international grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Grigio to produce good quality sparkling wines.
Veneto Wines
Veneto is an increasingly important wine region in the northeastern corner of Italy. Authentic Italian wines from Veneto are proudly represented by red Valpolicella wines that complement the intense Amarone and sweet Recioto. Though Veneto isn't the largest wine region in Italy it certainly produces more fine wines than the rest. Especially white wines made from Soave and sparkling wines such as Prosecco made from Glera. With such a diverse range of wines, Veneto seems quite a serious wine region, doesn't it?
Muscat Wines
Muscat (Moscato in Italian) is one of the oldest family varieties in the world and originated in the Middle East. Best quality Muscat wines come from Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Rutherglen, in Australia. Undoubtedly Italy produces more Moscato wines than any other wine country in the world and is mostly in the form of Moscato d’Asti which is made from Moscato Bianco. Other family members to be mentioned are Muscat of Alexandria, Muscat Ottonel Moscato Giallo and Moscato Rosa.
