Grenache Blanc Wines

Grenache Blanc or Garnacha Blanca in Spanish is a white grape mutation from Grenache Noir. Its origins are in Spain but it is more successful within the wine regions in France. It is best known for its part in the Châteauneuf-du-Pape blend. Besides France and Spain, Grenache Blanc is to be found in white wines from South Africa and California. Good quality Grenache Blanc wines are straw yellow and display rich fruit-forward flavours such as green apples and stone fruits.
