Malvasia Wines

Malvasia is an ancient grape variety that produces dry, sparkling and sweet wine styles. The grape variety is mostly used in wine regions such as Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Croatia, Slovenia and the USA. In Portugal, Malvasia is used to produce white port while in Spain is known as one of White Rioja Blend’s grape varieties. Italy is another country where this ancient variety is widely used often alongside Trebbiano, Negroamaro, or other national varieties.
