In its 2000 hectares of vineyards, Mirabeau creates fresh and elegant rosé wines with flavours dominated by red fruits and citrus. Among the grape varieties used to create these fabulous rosés the most important are Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Caladoc and Collombard.

Grenache (Garnacha)

Grenache (Garnacha) Wines

Grenache (Garnacha) is a black-skinned French grape variety extensively cultivated in France, Spain, Australia and the United States. In France, Grenache is widely planted in Rhone Valley followed by Provence and Languedoc-Roussillon. We will most commonly find it alongside Syrah and Mourvedre to create the classic Southern Rhone GSM wines. Meanwhile in Spain, Garnacha is the second most planted red wine grape variety, surpassed only by Tempranillo.
