Monsieur et Mademoiselle is a project based creation of the famous Chateau Fonbadet. The winery is located in Languedoc-Roussillon wine region- France. Its main objective is to create affordable good quality wines so that people know the taste of classic and authentic French wines. The wine’s labels are also specially conceived to make one crave for "La belle vie à la française” and a holiday in the French Riviera.

Languedoc-Roussillon Wines

Languedoc-Roussillon, the biggest wine producing region in the world, is located in southern France along the Mediterranean coast from Provence to the Spanish border. Languedoc-Roussillon wines are mostly blends and although lumped together it really shows that in the Languedoc subregion wines are French in character with their fruit-forward and complex notes. By contrast, Roussillon reveals its Catalan culture by producing jammy, savoury red blends as well as some fortified wines.

Merlot Wines

Merlot is an iconic red grape variety from Bordeaux, France. It is predominantly present in red wines from the iconic wine regions of Saint-Émilion and Pomerol, both from Bordeaux. Besides being a great calming companion for Cabernet Sauvignon in the renowned Bordeaux blends, Merlot stands besides other French wine varieties such as Tannat (in Cotes de Gascogne), Malbec (in Cahors) and sometimes Petit Verdot. In Tuscany, Merlot sometimes stands beside Sangiovese.
