Prieto Picudo Wines

Prieto Picudo is a rare, dark-skinned red wine grape variety originating from León, northern Spain. Prieto Picudo produces both light rosés and highly pigmented red wines. In blends, it usually appears alongside Tempranillo or Mencia. Prieto Picudo wines are dominated by blackberry and licorice flavours. On the nose, the wines tend to be mineral (very common among León wines), with vanilla and toast notes. Rosé wines reveal strawberry and raspberry flavours with hints of peach, citrus, and flowers.
