Rutini Wines is an Argentinian winery from the Mendoza wine region founded by Felipe Rutini in 1925. His motto had always been “hard-work and perseverance” and it helped him create some of the best wines in Argentina. Nowadays Mariano Di Paola is the Rutini winery’s official oenologist. He uses Pinot Noir, Malbec, Tempranillo, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Malbec and Torrontes grape varieties to create sophisticated and rich Argentinian wines.
Mendoza Wines
Mendoza is by far the most important wine region in Argentina and is annually responsible for roughly 70% of the Argentinian wine production. While Malbec is the most popular variety, there are other grape varieties used to make great argentinian wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo and Syrah. However, argentinian winemakers that produce Mendoza white wines as well. Look for Sauvignon Blanc, Torrontes or Chardonnay because you'll most certainlly enjoy every sip.
Cabernet Sauvignon Wines
Indigenous to Bordeaux, Cabernet Sauvignon is the most famous black skinned grape variety in the world. In fact it is the product of a natural genetic crossing between Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc. Besides its fame in Bordeaux, Cabernet Sauvignon wines are highly regarded in the New World wine regions especially in California, Chile and South Australia. Undoubtedly the finest Cabernet Sauvignon wines are found in Bordeaux and California, a viewpoint supported by the 1976 Judgment of Paris.
