Bottle (75 cl - Standard)
Saints Hills winery together with its Istrian and Dalmatian vineyards warmly invites us to have a taste from some of the winery’s finest wines created with rare grape varieties such as Plavac Mali, Posip, Malvazija Istriana and others. Saints Hills wines are soaked in history and traditions. They are elegant, complex and impossible to resist.
Istria Wines
Istria is the northernmost wine region in Croatia. The region takes up the majority of the Istrian Peninsula and is considered to be the key region of Croatian wine production. Istrian wines, mostly from Malvazija Istriana, are often made in New World wine styles: crisp, refreshing, fruity and aromatic. Over the past decades, international varieties such as Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon have been cultivated here with great results.
Chardonnay Wines
Chardonnay is the most famous white wine grape variety in the world. The best Chardonnay wines are generally to be found in Burgundy (especially Chablis) and California but many good quality examples will be also found in Italy, Australia, New Zealand and parts of South America. If maturated in oak barrels the Chardonnay wine will reveal notes of vanilla, butter, smoke and hints of sweet spices. Meanwhile unoaked Chardonnay wines acquire mineral, citrusy and fruity flavours.
