Semillon Wines

Sémillon is a gold-skinned grape variety from France very famous for its production of Sauternes sweet wines alongside Sauvignon Blanc. Originating from Bordeaux, its botrytised wine is a burst of fruit forward sweet flavours such as apricot, peach, nectarine and mango notes followed by secondary notes of citrus, nuts and honey. Sémillon wine stands out mostly for its silky texture caused by the high concentration of sugar and glycerol.
