Viña Chocalan is a Chilean winery from the famous Maipo Valley wine region. The winery owns 340 hectares of vineyards where it cultivates grape varieties such as Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Carmenere and Chardonnay. Viña Chocalan wines are very well regarded. Generally speaking the reds are very intense both in flavours and in colour, fruit-forward, followed by a refreshing and natural acidity.

Maipo Valley Wines

Maipo Valley is one of the most important wine producing regions in Chile. Home of the best Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon wines it is often referred to as 'South America's Bordeaux'. There are also substantial plantings of Carmenère vines, as the warmer climate is well suited to this iconic Chilean red wine grape.
