Cape Point is a former Wine of Origin designation in South Africa that now lies under the Cape Town WO. This South African wine region is situated in Western Cape, directly south of Cape Town and is considered to be one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet. South African wines from Cape Point are dominated by the herbaceous and complex Sauvignon Blanc, but wine lovers will also find good quality wines made from Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
