Vintage Sparkling

In the case of Vintage Sparkling wines such as champagne or cava some years, not that many, perform better than usual. Hence we call them vintage sparkling due to optimal weather conditions which yield exceptional harvests. Also all grapes used in making vintage sparkling come from the same harvest and for that reason the second fermentation on lees ought to last longer. They say a minimum of three years is required but top champagne houses keep their vintage bubbly on lees for at least five years. Go ahead, see our picks!
