Rheinhessen Wines

Rheinhessen is Germany's largest wine region and is renowned for its excellent white wines. However, in Rheinhessen are planted a relatively diverse range of grape varieties. Müller-Thurgau is the most prolific variety, with Riesling the runner-up. Then come other grape varieties like: Silvaner, Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris) and Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir). This region has history, it is German and makes some of the best white wines on the planet. In one word, Rheinhessen.
