Rondinella Wines

Rondinella is a red wine grape variety that famously appears as a key grape in Valpolicella and Bardolino wines. Rondinello is mostly cultivated in the Veneto wine region and is used to add herbal flavours in blends alongside Corvina grapes.In fact, there are proofs that Corvina is Rondinella’s parent and just like his parent, the variety also has a thick skin. Consequently the grape is suitable for drying to make Recioto and Amarone blends.
