Aragonez Wines

Aragonez is in fact Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo). It is a red wine grape variety famous for some of the best wines in Spain and Portugal. In Portugal, Tempranillo is generally used in Douro Valley to produce Port wines and table wines. It is here that it goes under the name of Tinta Roriz or Aragonez. The variety has a very good aging potential and is a good match for American oak. Aragonez is known for its natural high acidity and lively fruit-forward rich flavours.
