Bel Colle

Located on the rolling hills of Verduno, Bel Colle is a Piedmontese wine region and is considered to be one of the best vineyards in Barolo. Promoters of sustainable practices, their main objective is to create harmonious Barolo wines with traditional methods. Bel Colle is placed on a natural amphitheatre and exposed towards the afternoon sun where the microclimate allows the winemaker Giuseppe Priola to create a delicate Barolo, full of rich flavours, great structure and round tannins.

Piemonte

Piemonte Wines

Piemonte, located in northwest Italy, is one of the most renowned wine regions in the world. The best Piemonte wines are to be found in Barolo, Barbaresco, and Barbera d'Asti and the main variety for these authentic Italian wines is Nebbiolo. Nebbiolo wines are best known for their "tar and roses'' bouquet. Because of their strong tannins, the wines have excellent cellaring potential. Piedmont wines are also proudly represented by great regarded white wine styles: Moscato d'Asti and Asti Spumante.

Nebbiolo Wines

Nebbiolo is a black-skinned grape variety originally from Italy. This grape is responsible for the best quality red wines in Piedmont: Barolo and Barbaresco. Nebbiolo wines are essentially described by their strong tannins, high acidity and their specific "tar and roses" scent. When aging, Nebbiolo wines begin to fade from their deep violet colour and will turn into a beautiful brick orange.
