Caladoc Wines

Caladoc or Kaladoc is a dark-skinned dark variety created by Paul Truel in 1958 by crossing Malbec with Grenache. The grape variety has a deep dark colour, medium-high tannins and is usually to be found in IGP blends from Languedoc and Provence. Outside of France Caladoc appears in wine blends from Estremadura in Portugal and Mendoza in Argentina.
