2019 Claudio Quarta Greco di Tufo
Bottle (75 cl - Standard)

It all began in 2003 when Claudio Quarta bought a property near Pulsano, the home land of Primitivo grape variety- very close to Manduria- and started creating wine. Each of the three Claudio Quarta winery estates (Tenute Eméra, Cantina Sanpaolo and Cantina Moros) have the same objective: to produce great wines that reflect the soul of the Puglian terroirs using modern techniques while rediscovering the authenticity of the grape varieties: Primitivo, Negroamaro and Greco di Tufo among others.
Campania Wines
Campania is a prolific Italian wine region and Naples is it's largest city. White wines from Campania are exquisite and Greco di Tufo is the DOCG responsible for Campania’s most prestigious white wines. There are only eight villages that can legally claim to make Greco di Tufo: Tufo, Montefusco, Petruro Irpino, Chianche, Torrioni, Altavilla, Irpina and Prata di Principato Ultra. Italian wines from Campania are generally fruit-forward and youthful, hence they pair excellent with seafood and lean fish.
Greco di Tufo Wines
Greco is a white wine grape variety from Campania, Italy, associated with Greco di Tufo DOCG and mostly cultivated in the Campanian provinces of Avellino, Benevento, Napoli and Salerno. Italian wines made from Greco are usually perceived as fresh and herbal or full-bodied and fruit forward. The variety is often referred to as Greco di Tufo but there are also other locations in Campania DOCs strongly linked to this white wine variety such as Aversa Asprinio, Capri, Irpinia and Sannio.
