Piemonte, located in northwest Italy, is one of the most renowned wine regions in the world. The best Piemonte wines are to be found in Barolo, Barbaresco, and Barbera d'Asti and the main variety for these authentic Italian wines is Nebbiolo. Piedmont wines are also proudly represented by great regarded white wine styles: Moscato d'Asti and Asti Spumante.
