Piemonte Wines
Piemonte, located in northwest Italy, is one of the most renowned wine regions in the world. The best Piemonte wines are to be found in Barolo, Barbaresco, and Barbera d'Asti and the main variety for these authentic Italian wines is Nebbiolo. Nebbiolo wines are best known for their "tar and roses'' bouquet. Because of their strong tannins, the wines have excellent cellaring potential. Piedmont wines are also proudly represented by great regarded white wine styles: Moscato d'Asti and Asti Spumante.
Arneis Wines
Arneis is a white wine grape variety from the Piedmont wine region in Italy. Besides Italy, the variety is also found in California, Australia and New Zealand but smaller quantities. Arneis white wines are floral and medium to full-bodied.They reveal generous flavours of pear and apricot lifted by hints of hazelnuts. In the Roero wine region, Arneis has become quite famous in the past decades and therefore received a well-deserved nickname: White Barolo (Barolo Bianco).
