Anton Bauer

Anton Bauer is a family owned vineyard from Wagram in Austria. For generations the winery has meticulously embraced both tradition and modern technology in winemaking thus creating good quality wines with a complex structure and a specific fruity acidity. Anton Bauer represents the fourth generation of winemakers in his family. He puts the 29 hectares of land owned by the vineyard in good use by cultivating both national and international grape varieties.

Grüner Veltliner is a white wine grape variety from Austria and it is considered to be the most prolific wine grape in the country. There are two key styles of Grüner Veltliner wines: one is fresher and more mineral, the second is spicier, more complex, richly textured and well structured. But generally speaking these wines reveal citrus aromas such as lemon peel and grapefruit followed by stone fruit, fresh vegetal notes and hints white pepper.
