Biscardo is a family-owned vineyard located in the famous Valpolicella - a subregion of Veneto wine region in Italy. The winery was founded in 1878 and it was one of the first wine companies run by ‘Veronese’ traders. Terenzio Biscardo was one of the first promoters of wine commercial activities starting in the early 1900’s. After a century of wine-making tradition, the Biscardo family is still dedicated to creating good quality Italian wine.

Emilia-Romagna is a rich region in northern Italy, and one of the country's most prolific wine regions. Emilia Romagna wines are mostly renowned because of Lambrusco wines (Italian sparkling/frizzante red wines). Sangiovese Wines

Sangiovese is a dark-skinned grape variety originating in Italy and it is the most planted variety in its country. A true Sangiovese wine is acidic and has firm tannins. It also reveals rich flavours of dark cherries and black stone fruit followed by hints of tomato leaf and dried herbs. In Tuscany Sangiovese is responsible for the creation of great quality wines such as Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano or Chianti.
