Emilia-Romagna Wines

Emilia-Romagna is a rich region in northern Italy, and one of the country's most prolific wine regions. Emilia Romagna wines are mostly renowned because of Lambrusco wines (Italian sparkling/frizzante red wines). Despite its wide portfolio of Italian and international grape varieties (Malvasia, Lambrusco, Trebbiano, Barbera, Bonarda, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanco and Cabernet Sauvignon) the uniqueness of Emilia Romagna wines comes from its rare local DOC wines.
