Château Kamnik is a very modern 13 hectares boutique winery from Northern Macedonia. Their main objective is to harmoniously combine traditional winemaking with modern technology while preserving the natural surroundings. Carménère Wines

Carménère is a dark-skinned grape variety from Bordeaux but it found stability in Chile. Being a late ripening grape, Carménère needs a lot of sunshine and warm summers to reach its full potential. Red wines made from Carménère are deeply coloured and have the attractive meaty plumpness of Merlot and the gently herbal, cedary notes of Cabernet Sauvignon. These similarities are no surprise since Merlot, Carménère and Cabernet Sauvignon have Cabernet Franc as their parent.
